Privacy · local draft
Privacy notice
This notice is a draft until hosting providers, log retention and any international transfers are confirmed. This website sets no cookies and runs no visitor analytics or third-party trackers. The OpenRadView app reads your scans on your computer and does not send them to us. The details for both are below.
This website
We use no third-party analytics, advertising, fonts, embeds or trackers. There is no fingerprinting and no visitor ID. The request’s user-agent header selects a Mac, Windows or Linux download button. This coarse choice is not stored in a cookie or visitor profile; other platforms remain available.
Browser click/scroll beacons and persistent traffic analytics are disabled for this site. The server retains operational health counters without visitor identifiers.
The website server processes connection details such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser headers. Its current configuration logs requests for operation and abuse prevention. Hosting or network providers may also process these details. Before publication, this notice must identify those providers, storage locations, retention periods, lawful basis and any transfer safeguards. Do not put medical information in URLs.
Cookies
We set no cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's localStorage and never sent to us.
Downloads and other sites
The app, source code and releases use GitHub. When you download or open a GitHub link, GitHub handles that request under its own privacy statement. Links to dataset citations and licenses open their own websites.
The app
- Scans are opened only when you choose files, and processed on your computer. The app has no telemetry, analytics, account or hosted scan service, and it does not send your scans to us.
- Standalone installations enable automatic GitHub update checks by default. You can turn them off on first launch or in Privacy → Updates. Debian packages from 1.1.0 disable automatic checks; version 1.0.0 may still check when enabled. A check sends no scan data, but GitHub receives ordinary connection details such as your IP address, app version and requested platform/architecture. Downloading and installing an update need your action.
- Optional AI agents receive scan data only after you approve a named session, its series or views and its tools. Other series remain outside that approval. Your agent may send approved data to its provider. Logs, retention, training and deletion depend on that client/provider's terms and settings; the app cannot enforce them. Removing tags does not remove identifying text in pixels. Revoke stops future access and cannot recall delivered copies.
The app ships with its own privacy notice with the full details. Please do not send scans or medical information to us by email or in public GitHub issues.
Contacting us
If you email us, we process your address and message to respond. Please do not send scans or medical details. The final notice must also identify the email service and the purpose, lawful basis and retention for these messages.
